Long Day....

I'm wondering if someone has a WP switch module available for sale or get rid of. I know I can buy it from Wires Plus for $250 however if I'm gonna spend that much I might just replace the Whole enchilada. I'm also not thrilled that the unit only last about 10K miles.

And for anyone counting that's the second dog down this year. Not a good year.

Paul, you got another RIP for sale ? Haha

Why put another in if ya might be in the same position 10K down the road again? Reach deep and pony up and do it the right way:whoop::old2:
Thats why I am asking if anyone has one laying around that wouldn't cost me $250. Also, you've been keeping track I'm kinda running out of Pony's over here...lol. Also, back when I installed the WP it WAS THE RIGHT WAY, it was the only option as well! Jury is really still out on these other units, not sure there is enough miles on enough of them to be certain they will last 10k plus. I really like the module I think it's great and all-in-one setup, I hope it's good for awhile. Back when I installed the WP I said if it goes I'm going with a Harley setup, I had about 5 hours roadside today stuck at a Masonic Lodge to ponder it, still didn't come up with my final decision yet.

Right now I'm about even between miles and dollars this year between the two. That's not a good ratio.

Yea thats the power module ...I actually need the switch module...obviously the more expensive one :). Like I said for $250 its a toss up as it's plug and play in my current setup between an entire rewire for $700. My thinking is f*K'd up isnt it. LOL

However I was lucky that I was only about 75 miles from home today and not 775 or 1775. That's why $700 doesn't sound so bad.

How long would a new one be warrantied? May be worth another shot!
Not 10k miles ..lol

Warranty I'm not really concerned about, this one last about 4 years...it's the reliability beyond 4 years. I'd like to be like some other gentlemen on this forum with 60-80k miles on their dogs.

Im really just looking if someone is willing to unload one they have floating around even if it's used just to get me by for another year so I can save money I find when I look under my friends couch cushions.

I went thru that last year but not that bad, between the ESC, clutch basket and starter ring and starters, and now another fukn rear tire:oldbang:
That was me but add the transmission and a tire too.

Here is the culprit, just took it out of the bike and it still smells terrible.
