Bolt 002.jpg I was going over my 05' Ridgeback w/117" and notice my Upper Engine Mount Bolt was gone.

Anyone with the specs so I can replace: thread pitch, grade, length, lock washer required?....

The female threads in bike doesn't look stripped, phenomenon...

Hey TJ, welcome to the pound from your Miss. neighbor. I have a 08 Mastiff and I had an terrible vibration when I rode!! Come to find I had lost my upper motor mount screw!! Can"t remember size, you can take the other bolt out and try it in its place. I think they were the same size. If it is, use blue loctite!! What part of Alabama do you call home? :hi::hi::chopper:

Go to lowes and pick up a 1/2-20x1 1/2 she's chrome bolt. Get at least grade five and see if it works. If so torque is 80 footpounds I believe. Hope this helps. You can stick a screwdriver in the hole and measure depth to be sure.

My Lowe's don't have chrome bolts :( and my local hardware store closed I'm left with buying everything online.

To get you going lowes should have a grade 5 or 8 until you find a chrome one
Think of it as an accent piece :D
I'm going there tonight I'll let you know how it goes...gearbox is done now Paul so you can get off my back

I figured out how to ride both at once

As stated earlier, Lowes, Home Depot or Ace hardware will have the hardware your looking for. ACE has a great chrome selection...

If you haven't found the Top Motor Mount Bolt yet you can get them at Boltdepot.com The size you need for a PitBull, Ridgeback / K9 is 1/2 -20 X 1 1/4 SHCS Chrome; for a Chopper is the same except the length is 1 1/2 and for the Mastiff the length is 1 3/4. The Boltdepot.com is where I got mine. Use 2760 Loctite 80 Ft-Lbs torque like mentioned above. Make sure you also get two 1/2 inch flat SS washer, and the Nut. Mine has a acorn style nut with plastic on the exit tip. I don't know but I don't think your would need the 3/8 spacer a mastiff requires being that the bolt is shorter than for a Mastiff. The nut I would say use the acorn style they hold better and don't need a lock washer.

Use a stainless one if you can't get chrome and just polish the head, you should know how to do that. LOL

As Boo says locktite as well as a NYLOC nut in SS, and HD ss flat washers.

Use feeler gauges prior and see if you have a gap between mount and frame and adjust as required.
