If it's truly the EHC that is the issue there's a few options.

Someone just built a direct replacement which is your easiest and quickest route.

Otherwise you can rewire it with various kits are out.

You are gonna have to do a search it's been covered in great detail many times before.

You may need to buy a RIP kit EHC replacement. But if your electrical harness has been cut/modified then you may be in for additional harness work or replacement. Are you running the stock BDM handlebar controls? If so then a RIP kit could be in your future.

Yes sir I am tuning bdm controls. So I bought a wire plus kit but know my problem is that someone else has already be in there to put this EHC in and I'm missing about 9 wires to connect the wire plus kit properly. (I have not cut the harness open to see were they put the wires yet). I was hoping maybe some new who made this EHC so I didn't have to go through the hassle of tracking down missing wires. (I have had no luck finding this EHC).
Thanks in advance!

That's what I was thinking. I haven't seen a ehc with those type connectors.
That does not look like a normal stock EHC. Or it's a weird factory version.
Sorry guys I wasn't paying attention! It was early!

That's the HCI ...it's part of the PDM kit.

I have two of them...so I guess what makes it think this is the problem?

You bought a Wire Plus? Why? Should have came here first there's much better options for the same price

10-4!!! That is the HCI for the BD PDM kit. It's the part that tends to fail

Eric, I LOVE my wire plus.......
I love mine too!

I've just installed an RIP and a WP. And I don't see why you would willing do it. I know with both options I'd do RIP. WP is a pain in the ass and incomparable to a RIP install.

Also the older WP units seem to be of better quality. There's a lot of us that bought wire plus back in 2009-2012 that still running them whereas these newer guys are having problems. Maybe us old timers are just better? Lol

I only went with wire plus cuss I didn't know any better. But know I'm in a pinch cuss my harness dose not have all the wires that the wire plus kit needs.
