Cutty... I thought yours was being done at GAC not ACM. I wish you luck.

Doug, not sure about your issues on the oiler. Doc is the tech and I speak to the general manager all the time. I am on the phone with her now and going to ask her about your issues.

Doug, Spoke to the general manager on dyno stuff and asked her about your bike. She looked up the RO on it and said she would investigate it and get in touch with you. She really wants to keep customer service a huge priority for the dealership. I'm on a first name basis with her and she has a good handle on most things but tries not to get too crazy and micro manage things.

Keep us advised and hopefully me rattling the higher up cage will help ya.

Thanks Chris, they just called and gave me an update. I don't want any hurt feelings over this venture, it is hard to find good dealerships. Looks like I will not be able to join in the dyno fun, I will be breaking in another new motor this summer, well at least the top half! Glad to hear you found a place that can help us out with our bikes, GOOD JOB!

When are you looking at getting her back?
S&S has been dragging out their orders on alot of parts I heard, not just my pistons... hopefully they are caught up now.

Late June works for me, I would like to get my 3,000 miles in - new intake - and tune before and after intake.
Cutter,
Not sure, but like you said there are parts on back order. I hated to hear that but what can you do?

Figured I would bump this after talking with Doug, and still no resolution...
We are talking about a MELTED batery cover, not just damaged paint.

Full Throttle had BDM and S&S "in house" looking into this with no resolution... maybe his pipes ?

He has had Yaffe Phantom's first and will be replacing his Trotta T2's with my '06 V&H BR's?

Maybe wrap the pipes and put the heat shields over the tape ?

Ceramic the pipes inside, wrap the pipes and then heat shields ?

Something doesn't seem right

:loony: Did they check with a laser gun to see just how hot the exhaust pipe gets? That rear spray jet or piston cooler has to direct oil to the bottom of the piston to cool properly. :loony:

Yea Nothing beats a good follow up though.Sounds like it scored the rear cylinder then the dealer replaced parts to have it happen all over.:job:

I have rode this bike and yes I did shoot the pipes with the laser temp gun. The front pipe is hotter than the rear. I mean so hot it starts to burn your foot at slow speeds. The latest tech said all engine temps a good, pipes are junk and need to be replaced. I am sure when Doug gets this all sorted out he will post a update. He is crazy busy building a sick garage.
