ISO factory handlebars for an 03 pitbull

Just added my second dog to the pound (had an 05 chopper, just added an 03 pitbull). Unfortunately someone threw some after market ape hangers which takes away from the natural lines of the bike. Looking to replace them with the factory bars. Amyone have a set or know where i can fins them

Do they work on an 03 pit? Of so i would be interested for sure. Im not real sure.. but didnt the 04+ models go to a bigger bar instead of the 1"?

You are correct. My 04 Pit has 1 1/2" bars. Makes finding aftermarket grips n controls a bitch.

Can you post a pic of the bars? If i can find original controls that will fit i might. Try to male them work. What would you want for them?

Nice.

If I'm not mistaken, on an 03 the parts were pretty standard "off the shelf" type stuff. I think a a good set of drag bars would look tough.

Yeah, thats my understanding too.. drag bars are my second option for sure.

I also own a 03 Pit Bull, but with the stock bars (and tach). If you can't find a set of the originals, I would look into a set of risers (your choice of length) and drag bars, with the proper diameter. Would look about the same or better.
