Well I've owned my 06 pitbull for a month it has 8000 miles on it...well over the weekend it decided to eat the exhaust valve let's just say not good gonna need a complete top end do I have it rebuilt or what about putting a new motor on it I can get a good deal on a ultima 127 will it fit are they a good motor are there other motor options out there any input would be appreciated

Wow, 8000 miles and it blows.... S&S are good motors IF they are built by S&S. I had one that's still running after 210k with only a head job. I'd stick to S&S 107 or 113 for reliability. You could rebuild your motor for less than a new one and know it's right if a good builder does it. Talk to Marky Mark he seems to know what's going on.

What about everything else like will my baker 6 speed bolt up to the motor...what about wiring...I'm assuming I'm going to need to do more then just bolt a new motor in there thanks

It will bolt up. Still an EVO Engine is the same size.

The baker propertiary primary is needed to bolt to the baker propertiary transmission.

The 05 & 06 with the TP heads are notorious for eating valves. John Sachs will be happy to tell you how bad they suck. Haha

Still might be cheaper to rebuild yours with new S&S HEADS with a 600cam and oversized valves Then you'll have a very powerful and reliable machine.

S&S is a good reliable engine, I'd stick with them.
