Tanks are different and probably the fenders also. If you are talking electrical most should in the same year range.
I plan to rewire the bike with something way better than what is stock. I've been having electrical issues. I've heard that Big Dogs are notorious for electrical issues so I want to replace it with something more reliable. As it is now I need a new speedo, it quit working right after I got it.

Call me nuts, but if your thinking about swapping everything from the K-9 over to a different frame, wouldn't it be easier to just get a Wolf or Pit to start with? Or are you asking for a different reason?

The bike was a gift from my father. I would like to keep as much of it as possible... It was the first thing he has ever given me but a hard time. So sentimental it is! And I may not change anything if the price of a frame is outrageous but if it's doable then I will. I love the K9 don't get me wrong, but the Wolf looks more comfortable for an everyday rider. I may be wrong.

Got ya! I'm actually sopposed to make a cross country trip to Idaho next summer because my father wants me to have his old 1980 FLH Shovelhead, so I get the sentimental aspect. As far as comfort goes, a Pitbull is a rigid so no cushy ride there!

Then the wolf it is then. I don't want a rigid. Because the K9 is actually very comfortable to me and rides pretty good. At around 80 it seems to wobble a bit. Im thinking it may be the chopper or the 300 tire. I just had the rims balanced and the tires are brand new. I'm hoping I can meet up with someone that has one that will let me ride a wolf.

Also look into the Mastiff and Bulldog, similar to the Wolf.

Setting on the bike push down and pull up. Should feel resistance. You never know if the fork oil has ever been changed or you have a bad seal.hopefully the dynamic beads will solve the problem.
I had a higher speed flutter that went away with the dyna beads. Hell, could just need a new set of shoez....?

Put a set of dyna beads in the front tire and go for a ride....
I run Dyna beads as well and they make a big difference. My wife bought another set when she ordered my last set of tires but the shop just moved them over from my old tires so I actually still have 5 ounces(two bags-one 3 oz and one 2 oz) if someone needs them. They won't do even one tire on my truck and my lawnmower doesn't need them so I got no use for them lol. I don't have the little applicator bottle but any little funnel that'll fit in a valve stem will work or if you get new tires they can throw them in then.
