no start, just buzz

Had to do some digging, but I found a picture of what I was talking about on the solenoid.

Ok Chubs & Brew. Will do.Just changed out starter (yes i have a couple spares lol) and same thing. So thinking battery or compression reliefs. Off to try now....

OK... hooked up the truck battery to the bike (jumpers). Yup she spins over for about half a revolution then starter clicks... Thinking my compression releases are not working. Waiting on a buddy to stop by so i can hold both releases down n hit the starter button at same time...currently not enough hands!

Sounds like your battery is weak to me! Start the truck up and raise the RPMs for a few minutes to charge up your scoots battery, then shut down the truck and try and start the scoot. I don't think it's your reliefs if you got half a crank.

Maybe, just maybe, if ya take yer right shoe and sock off ya could hold the compression released with yer hands and hit the start button with yer big toe! (If ya decide to try that, we'll expect to see pictures!! OR ya could just wait for yer buddy to show up! OR, ya can try the toe thing, and yer buddy can take the pictures! Seriously tho, Hope it's something simple, like a weak battery or bad connections!

Yeah if you have just one dead cell in that battery, your screwed. The cranking AMPs will drop like a rock!

Why don't you just take the spark plugs away? No compression at all!
I sure think your truck battery should crank the engine no matter if compression releases work or not.

Hooked up truck. Yes it spins over but will not continue to crank. Only half crank then clicking on starter. Compression releases are working correctly

Borrowed a street glide today for a much needed ride through the Beartooth Mountains. Sad i wasnt on the dog but i tried. If i have time tomorrow b4 i start work again i may fiddle with it again and see why the hell it wont continue to roll over even when hooked up to a Truck .... ARGH!!!!!!!!!
