I bet that red fluid is redline shockproof. The first oil recommended in our trans.

I still run the shockproof in mine. Either oil works

Ended up going with Spectro for the Trans and primary. And if you saw the other thread, our mechanic got the hub out and said it looks fine which is a good thing cause according to Baker they no longer sell the flanged hub by itself, only in the $ 400 carrier assembly. So I got the Bandit carrier and bearing like you got and I'm gonna press in my hub for now to get me back on the road without my wife killing me for spending $599 for the complete Bandit clutch setup, plus the over $100 I spent for the misc. oils, o rings, nut and washer from Baker and new tensioner shoe. Everything else looked great so I'll run with it for now and consider a full upgrade in the future when more money is freed up should have all the parts within a couple days and be able to get her back together.

Can't wait to see it after seeing your pics. I figure as long as the surface going into the Trans on the hub is smooth so it seals, then screw it. Id be more concerned with my main shaft snapping from that step then the hub going. And surprisingly the pressure plate looked really good on mine so by the time it needs an upgrade I'll be looking at new clutch anyway. Tha again for all the help!

Butch i have a brand new carrier and basket I'll take 2 hundred for and throw in a used clutch that is still in good shape for nothing.
Thanks for the offer man but just got the bandit carrier so I should be good to go. Appreciate it though, and that's a good deal!

Lmfao!!!

Well got the hub pressed in today and test fit just the carrier. Because it's much beefier it was just rubbing on one of those lock tabs on the bolts where the primary is bolted to the trans. Tapped them down flush with the bolts and all is well. Also just installed the sprocket cage to the carrier, inner clutch hub and got all the clutch plates put in. Now I'm gonna see it I can get it installed without the front sprocket off. I was able to get it off but that's when it was cracked so I will probably have to pull the engine sprocket. Then I'll just bolt it loose with the stock nut for now to hold it in place. Got all my parts except the new nut and washer, they will be here tomorrow. Getting there.

Nice! Got it on without pulling the front sprocket. Good thing, I would have had to get a socket that fit, didnt have one! Hope you had something good Ker! Downed some marinated chicken and macaroni salad myself, then back to work!!!
