Don't forget feedback on Rockstar Customs :feedback:
For what it’s worth….I was there the Thursday before the opening. It was a great day to ride so I popped in just to check it out. Met “rockstarcustomsgirl” MO – boy she’s GREAT…..it was obvious that she was in the business for a while, UNDERSTOOD the biker mentality and was a pleasure to talk to.
Then on to the mechanics in the back – Sorry, forget his name - had a long gray ponytail. (I’m getting old…  ) EXTREMLY HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. The difference here is besides just offering advice; he voluntarily took the time to check out a couple of things for me – although minor I thought that was a notable gesture. All in all, everyone out there was real nice – what one should expect from a professional dealership – hopefully all of us will have the same experience.
The true test will be with Bill and Ray…..keep tuned.

I had my 500 done there a few weeks ago. The mech. is Smitty. Great guy and very willing to help. Overall very happy with them. And man the showroom is quite impressive.

stopped by today and there was only a battery tender on my bike. there is one mechanic who seems great very knowledgable but i dont know how it is possible for him to handle all 20 some bikes that are in there. i mean how can one possibly be thorough with these repairs? i hope this all gets worked at soon. i really like the people there and the store is great!!

Just a thought here guys!! :D

But with all the little problems we have with our EHC electronics and other things especially a new EFI system I would want my bike in a shop that has had mechanics that have attended the lots of yearly "tech summit" meetings at the factory.
I don't know the history of this Smitty at this place but if he hasn't ever worked on a Dog then he may be overwhelmed with all the little things we have to go through to troubleshoot a problem. As for a 500 mile service then nobody needs much experience with this but.....

My dealership has Thomas that has attended numerous tech summits and worked on BD's for years and when I had my bike at Tampa, FL they had a guy named Shannon that had been there for 8 yrs working on BD's. These are the guys I want working on my bike cause they can get to the problem real quick and get you your bike back.

Again, just my :zz2cents:
