I added a D&M spike filter to mine and YES the jets were also changed, let the dealership do it for me before taking delivery of the bike so I'm not certain what jet was put in to compensate for the filter change......one of these smart guys will know what it takes.

Nope, your prolly gonna wanna jump 1 more size up, but if you buy it, I would run it first and try adjusting before jumping up a size. You prolly have a 31 intermediate in there now?
The dealer went up to 31 when they installed my Big Radius pipes and I had to jump to a 32 with the dual runner, it sounded like a machine gun both decel and accel before the jet change with the 31 and the dual runner

Actually it's not a great setup for vertically challenged I can't imagine. Sticks out more than stock.

And you'll be fine with a 31 INT jet with that intake don't listen to that Ker guy

on a serious note I've been told by reliable members and remember reading it a wile back does it have to be turned up? I don't like the look of it pointing to the sky

Reliable ? Franco or Ker? I wouldn't use "reliable" with those two...hahaha

But you are right I run mine up and I have heard of people having issues facing forward and when they point up they go away. Some guys have run forward successfully though as well.

In my opinion facing UP is the only way to run a Spike

Used to run mine forward. But found out I had a lag in throttle from 60-65. Pointed it up, problem gone..

Not too bad.. Test it out too see if you have any lag in the throttle..

I've run mine straight up for a while now and it runs better in my opinion, just had to retune my carb....
