image.jpeg So around the fuel cap recess my fresh paint decided to start coming up. Had it not be air brushed I probably would have just sanded it back down and repainted it. So instead I got one of the paint saver type fuel cap assemblies. Only wish it came in black

Nothing other than the cap. Unthread old cap, thread in new two piece cap. Then put the cap key on the key chain. I got mine through a local motorcycle part shop for $60 they can be had online for around the same or a few dollars less.

What all do you have to do to change it? I really like the looks of that one.
There's a plastic key fob to open it...too much work for me and I would be worried about dropping it an losing it in say somewhere close to nowhere. (West Texas, New Mexico come to mind)

Not super conducive for a dog that wanders far from home in my opinion.

I put one on my bike about two years ago and the only issue I have is I keep getting a stain form the gas venting on the chrome paint protector. Just have to clean it every once in awhile with nevr-dull and some elbow grease.

That's why you get an extra key lol one for the key chain and one for the tool bag.
