Looking for options to my 2007 K9 triple trees. The chrome is peeling and the replacements are 499 on ebay. Anyone have another manufacture that makes them to fit our big dogs? Thanks all..

I have something similar to these. Except mine has a solid top tree. I got them from Accutronix several years ago. You will need the 5 degree rake 41 mm and he carries them as well as the 3 degree which is what I have. He sells a kit that is a direct bolt on to Big Dog Motor cycles. I paid $597.00 for the Kit which comes with Stem, bearings and upper tube caps. Their site appears to be under construction at the time but they have them. Go to his site and get a number he might have what you need. They are pricey , but good chrome and different.

What's your plans for your current trees? I need a set for my "07 and would be willing to invest the time & effort to strip the chrome & repolish the aluminum to save some money.

Had no plans for them.. Let me see what going on with Accutronix and I'll let ya know. Actually I had them chromed, they are peeling which is why I'm replacing them. Seems the chromer that was used to chrome all my shit was less than below average. Everything I had chromed I've had to either re-chrome or replace.

Never mind. After researching I'm taking Bill's suggestion. I'll live with it this summer and for a winter project send them off for re-chroming. Too expensive for new ones WOW.. Thanks for your help and suggestions.
Good choice. Make sure they triple show chrome them. It costs a bit more but they will last a long time. The parts I had triple chromed on my 1996 bike still look like new.

Why would he need 5 degree? I thought they were 3 degree stock?

Accutronix says I needed 41mm 5 degree rake for theirs. I know the manual says 3 degrees rake, that's why I asked them. Safe trails..
