Oil levels 04 Ridgeback.

Gonna change my oils this weekend so could anyone tell me how much i should be putting in my engine and primary please, to save me from all weekend looking for that safe place i wrote it down that i can no longer find.

1 quart in the primary, and I always buy 4 quarts for the motor oil but it usually only takes about 3, but I like extra to add if I need it. I have a Mastiff though

Ridgeback is oil to the bottom of the fill neck.

I'm 99.9% sure the manual says on the kickstand but I always found that to be too much and it blows it all over the fucking bike anyways. So bottom of the neck with it upright has treated me better. I think it was a typo.

Set the oil level this way after you run it to make sure the filter is full, I'm assuming your gonna change the filter also? or clean it if you have one of those type.

I'd buy 4 to be safe and have plenty, my chopper only held like 2.5qts

Yep, got a new filter to go on. Just finished running her in after engine rebuild so due an oil and filter change and thought i would do primary as well whilst i was at it.
