I have a 05 chopper. I believe it is a 240 rear. Does anyone know if I can put an oversize tire on that rear?

You're 05 Chopper came stock with a 250mm Avon tire. I get about 19,000 to 22,000 miles on each. Not much room to increase the size of the tire as the belt is really close to the tire!
But 250 is just fine for everyday riding!!!!

an 8.5 inch rim will fit either a 240 or 250 but you may run into tire rub issues with the frame unless you play with the rear wheel spacers.

edit: sorry I thought it was a 240 on the chopper but Ray should know
