Oh my god!!! My pistons and valves came right out of the top of my Rocker Box covers and pierced the damn fucking gas tank!!! Thank god I was wearing eyeglasses and had a fire extinguisher in my garage....FUCK!!!!!!!!

Not a puff of oil on startup, or as it idles and runs, nor at throttle up. That shows a well assembled engine. Good job. Yes, 'shake it down' as they say. Start from the front axle on up to the forks, then all the way back is check every nut, bolt, and screw for tightness before the shakedown.

I voted it would be fine but the video didn't work last night when I posted and thought it did blow up.... Good job buddy!

FWIW, I never screwed with the enrichners on my bikes. Just hit the starter and flutter the gas a little while the motors turning over. Looked like that thing was a bitch to start. Glad she's going tho.

Gotta think though it was a dry engine that didn't have any gas or oil in it for some time while he did the rebuild. From now on he should have no problem with firing her up.
