I think the caliber of our BD service centers is just as big of an issue as the quality of the bike leaving the factory!!!

Good point! I am looking at the HD Street Glyde as my next bike down the road when my back has had it!!
I love my 03. Like i said in my other post, I would like to keep this dog for a long time even if I get another bike. I have a small oil leak now, but nothing that has ever prevented me from riding and the small things that need some fixing I enjoy doing.
The only thing that has me thinking is starting a project and needing the finances for it. But i'd hate to get in over my head and wish I had my dog back that was worry free.
I guess it all comes down to money. I need more of it so I can do the things I want!!!!!

I've had 3 harleys and 1 triump the last 30 years and the last one was a 50 Pan which has permenetly fucked my right leg kicking that SOB! When I bought my 05 dog I decided that it would be my last bike. So I'll wrench on it and I've had issues 1 tranny and 1 starter but by far my dog has been the best bike I've owned:2thumbs:
