2003 pitbull can I remove the tachometer?

I'm not a fan of the handle bar mounted tachometer on my bike can I remove it without causing any issues? And do I need to remove tank to do so?

if you do remove the handle bar mounted tachometer and bracket ,I would be interested in buying it from you if you want to sell it I have two 03 pit bulls and kinda been looking for the tach and bracket for one of mine that had gotten damaged .just let me know send me a message or call or text 803-322-2301 have a great day

I ended up removing it a few hours ago. I like the way it looks alot better. All the electrical issues worry me so I put dielectric greese in the open plug then put it in a Ballon and zip tied it shut.

I'll keep the tach incase I ever sell the bike or want it diagnosis reasons. Thank for the offer tho
