Curfew???

i read an article that says the Dept of Transportation is pushing all states to place a curfew on all motorcycles. 11 states are starting enforcement in April, the rest are expected to start in June.

Is this just a BS story, or has anybody else heard of it?

Exactly my thoughts! I commute to work at 3:30 A. M. I'd have to say this is bullshit. I've never heard of this and we'll see if it's true come next month, if I get pulled over I'll fight any ticket due to this. I shouldn't have to pay because of other dumbasses getting killed because they ride like Morons...

Sheila had heard this also last month. sounded like SC was on board with it but can't see it going anywhere due to the fact that it would mean the fed. would be interfering with states rights. but this wouldn't be the first time the fed overstepped their bounds in reference to the Constitution.

I don't see New Hampshire going for it either. Doesn't make sense that a state that doesn't even have a helmet law would agree to curfews.
