New pics

Dude you air filter is jacked up though not mounted right
That's the way my uncle mounted it. I have another pic of it an it's pointed straight up. It doesn't affect the way the bike runs, so think I will leave it for now, thank you though

It's missing a bracket, he mounted it directly onto the carb.

If I were you I would look into getting a bracket that air filter Is heavier than you think. Just adding weight to the carb which it's not designed to hold .

Nice bike though

BNCK9,

Could you please post a few pics of the rear tire to the drive belt clearance with a ruler in the picture.

Thanks

He said he had a extra bracket that came off the bike, have a good idea where it might go now. That's a good enough reason to change it back for me, thank you

I posted one on my help thread, I can tell you, it looks like it's rubbing. I sanded just enough so the tire didn't rub, just clears .008203 mm feeler guage

Thats closer than mine, I used a piece of paper which is .051mm = .002 but hey, there's clearance and my belt is running in the center of the drive wheel.
I think Bowhunter is right about the alignment, it wouldn't take much of a shift on the motor and tranny to make a big difference on the tire to belt.:old2:
