I am all about saying what people don't want to hear. Think you missed the point.
No, I think you missed the point. I could give two shits how you say you need to get this off your mind is you did. Now, jump over my posts, pretend I'm not here. I do unto others before they do. Go ask Franco and see if any posts were answered or finalized for others, and this was before I showed up. Same shit around the net so either take the bike to some hack or do it yourself.

See the cashier if you want me to get to the point. Theory is free in other words. I got paid [for a hobby] working on your generic bikes... name the brand they are all still pink inside.

Appreciate you wanting to help but your post are really hard to read and worst hard to understand .
Because it's high tech and simple science at the same time and not my fault you do not grasp the handcuff of the abstract. And I'm not trying to be a dick. The OP has a simple or complicated problem to be addressed. I'm not here to fuck around when it comes to this shit. And just for you Paul, next thread I'm interested in and have somewhere to look, 'it's short and sweet.' Here's an example...

I have an 04 107cu Ridgeback and would like to baby it as far as the best fluids.
Anyone run synthetic oils in your choppers?
I know its more expensive but I know in my cars it's been worth it.
Used to run Royal Purple throughout went to Mobile 1 ($7.95) a qt.) Lessened the vibration and noise a bit. Royal Purple is as thin as Canola oil.

OK, my experience is not from motorcycles, but from heavy trucks. But with engines that can run north of $35,000 to rebuild, I have done extensive lab testing. And this is what I've found

1. As long as the oil you use has the proper rating as specified by the engine manufacturer it will protect your engine as well as any other.
2. Synthetic oils do not protect any better than modern conventionals. The benefit to synthetics is their reduced resistance to flow, thus providing better cooling capabilities.
3. Oil does not wear out. It gets contaminated. In trucks we've found that with proper filtration we don't need to change oil. Simply change filters on a regular basis and monitor & replenish additive levelsas needed.
Of course, I'm dealing with a unit that holds $500 worth of oil, I'd change oil in a bike just to save the hassle factor and for piece of mind.

My suggestion is this,
Change your filters twice as often as recommended
Change your oil 1/2 as often as recommended.
Have your oil lab tested every time you change the filters.
Use whatever oil makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. As long as it meets specifications.

Lab testing has saved me a ton of money. It will let you know when something inside the engine is going out, usually long before catastrophic failure. I have found bearings that we're starting to wear through sampling that could have turned into a nightmare if it weren't caught well in advance.
