I think I'll give em a try. Got a good online or retail recommendation for them? Safe trails.. :chopper:
I don't remember the web address but just type in Google, Shinko and there will be plenty retailers. there is a seller on Ebay that just sells tires and he has the 300 35 V18 I believe they are, for $187, free shipping and it took about 5 days to get it.

I just got a 250 Dunlop from bikebandit.com in 1 day shipping. Been running Avon, however, I got low mileage and worn out tire so I switched this go round.

Does the K9 that comes standard with the 300 35/18 tire have issues with the sidewall and the drive belt? It's a factory installed Avon tire on my 06 K9 and I just bought a replacement Avon tire for it. I am in the need of a drive belt because there is a portion missing, as if something chewed it up. After reading this thread, now i'm wondering if I have to clearance the side of the tire. I need some educating on this topic. Thanks.

You should not need to that's only on the Metzler tires. Avon should fit like a glove if it doesn't someone might have put the spacers on the wrong side or soemthing else is wrong

My new Avon lasted one season, if you do run this tire you need to run 42 psi, a little extra..a bad choice if you run a hard tail, that extra psi will make it a long day...
My soft tail with hard psi feels fine... Avon.
