Custom Personalized Handmade Fork Bag

So I have a friend that is doing time and is in the hobby craft program behind the wall. He is making custom Handmade Fork bags. The one pictured is one he just made for me. I had a CSA emblem embossed on mine, but he can put anything on it you want...I had one with Big Dog emblem on it, but was stolen when my mastiff was stolen....these are heavy duty bags that are double stitched and well made. My bag is 10.5 inches wide, 4 inched deep, and 5.5 inches tall. For a bag like mine, he gets $75 plus $10 shipping. If you want a different size, or basket weave or Conchas, it will be a little bit more. I am not making anything off of these, just helping a friend out. Let me know if anyone is interested. Just curious, but does the money go to the guys doing the work, or does the state take it from them?

All of the money goes to the guys doing the work.....my friend has a job in the prison kitchen, which he makes $2 a day. He does the hobby craft program to keep from setting on the pod and doing nothing. He uses the money he makes from things he sell to buy more supplies to make more things. I know this is a really simple design, but he makes some really nice things and takes a lot of pride in his work. I'm going to try to pick up a seat pan and he is going to make me a hand tooled seat for my ridgeback.

I have a buddy who is a retired University Professor who took up leatherwork upon retirement. He made me a replica of the BDM sissy bar bag (complete with piping around the edges, etc.), and said he would probably have to have a couple hundred if he were to do more of them.
I can tell you that is a good price for a bag like that. And I like to see a man use time wisely, no matter where he is.

Here is two more pictures of my friends work.....one is a flap for a bag and the other is an arrow quiver.....both of these are hand tooled leather.....and btw, he is open to making other things too.....I just want to get his work out there.

That is a bad ass tool bag and great leather work. Can I get one similar to the Big Dog one? I'm not too fussy with the specifics on the styling like the buttons and shit I'll leave it up to him. I would just like it to say "Big Dog Motorcycles" . Similar to the below pics.

Thanks! I'm just glad to help keep the guy busy he is obviously talented. I know how projects keep the mind free, I'm sure on the inside it's more important.

I think the best way to do this, is for whomsoever would like a bag (or whatever else, backrest bags would be no problem, just give me the size) please just send me a PM with your names and addresses and I'll get this started.....I will talk to my friend on Wednesday and let him know what he needs to make. Please be patient with the first few, because I know he has to put in an order for the leather. Thank you
