Oil filter

When you really get down to it, these oils are some of the best and capable of lasting thousands of miles longer than what we put on them anyway, I change the oil yearly or every 2000-2500 miles anyway. I run Mobil 1 in all my vehicles and again, I change it yearly or every 4000 miles, but I buy it when its on sale and for $4.50/quart, which is the price of regular oil, why not change it.
I change the oil in my truck twice a year spring and fall how ever many miles I don't care. Usually it's about 4-5k but not worth keeping track. The full synth stuff will last 10k easy

I buy the Harley oil filter. I noticed using there filter I don't have to remove that thing on the front of the motor to get the filter off. When I use fram filter I have to remove that piece. I do once a year oil change with a filter change halfway through the summer.
You need to get rid of that Harley filter, there too restrictive, someone on here just had that problem a few weeks ago, the valves were rattling like hell from no oil.:yesnod:

Do you remember the post? I don't know which he had other than it was a Harley filter.
Yea I remember the post he was running the twin cam filter on the EVO.

You don't remember the post? You have one fucking job! Hahaha ...I vote to dock Ker's pay he isn't holding the forum down. He says he is no longer stressed in retirement and thinking clearer than ever except he keeps talking about wearing his wifes panties.

"
might not be this but since you service the bike yourself are you using the correct oil filter?
Harley twin cam oil filters are too restrictive."

I envy you folks with kids. We have not been blessed with them. We trying to adopt.. It's been a painful process so far for us. Anyways back to the oil filters.. Yes I was using a Harley oil filter and it was causing knocking and pinging (ever so lightly but still). Replace it with K&N 170 and no issues. Just sayin..

Safe trails.. :chopper:
