I figured most of us would be in the over 40 crowd. As mentioned earlier, younger guys usually have young kids and most likely less disposable income and free time. I know I couldn't have afforded a BD 20 years ago.
Even back in 07' for those of us that purchased new, it was a lot of money for a bike, 30-35K, 26K+ for solid color,I think they are much more affordable today. Wait, but then again since they started back up again, the prices are back up there also for a new one. So really what I'm trying to say is, I don't know what the hell I'm saying.:oldlaugh::oldconfused:

When I mentioned that we had this poll on here in the past, I would've shared the link but couldn't find it. I was hoping someone else would have better luck finding it but I think many threads got lost in the upgrade. The poll was pretty filled out and while I think the highest age bracket reflected on here now was probably accurate to then as well, there were more in the younger bracket too. I remember quite a few young guys purchasing at our dealership back in the day. What I think may be different today, is that the younger guys are probably on to the next fad. And also as stated, selling toys to pay for babies.

For the young guy/girl, for less than $10k, you can buy a "sexy" sport bike that comes off the floor going 180mph, so you can ride with your hair on fire (mainly because you haven't figured out the death thing yet) and not worry about maintenance because the bike will probably find the salvage yard before the first oil change is due :oldeek::nonod:
