Could be a loose belt or needs a little lube. I have used belt dressing but I think some old post said something about bar soap.

Are ya sure its coming out of the clutch? top motor mount if its loose makes a similar chirping noise.

HMAN

I just like my Freedom
Dont know if this will help but... I had an odd chirp at one time on my 04 Pit. Turns out the spring in the compensator sprocket had broken. ??? Just a thought.

Spent a lot of time trying to locate exact place this chirping was coming from, not from top defiantly from lower part of eng. Left side inside drive housing case

It only when you let off above 20mph. only in the backlash do you hear it

Sounds logical. Same as no rubbers in the rear wheel cushdrive housing. The compensator ramps up and locks, brings the snap with it, jerks the sprockets faster than the belt rolling with the ramp and that spring slowing down the hit... now acts the cushdrive. Sound logical enough?

1. Loose belt.
2. Worn (rub both hands together, who is not equally warm?) equally are the sprocket teeth and belt tooth. The throttling of lift and load ramps the rubber up the tooth and the back down the other side.
3. The shine of the teeth, like a freshly waxed floor, you run a sneaker at it and hear the chirps.
4. Soap is the lube between parts.
5. Steel brush my shinny teef to defeat the queef?

Well I opened up this old post to see the answers I got awhile back on the chirping coming from drive housing on my 03 big dog readjusted the clutch greased the clutch rod changed oil Amsoil 20w50 & Amsoil primary fluid & amsoil in the gear box 75w140 found some Bees wax (candle wax) dressed the belt checked tension 10lb. in bottom center ¾ in. deflection checked air pressure in tires ,, Some wizard polish 3hr rub down and then went for a ride I don’t get the looks on my SG like I get on the BD she’s just badas all chirping gone & Neutral real easy to find, love the power this 107 puts out sound like a dragster
