My part is done.. Time to take it to my seat guy and have it coverd to match the seats he should be done with.

I think that back plate is welded to the sissy bar Ker.

Nope, looks like a swedge fit to me. Edges on the plate are bent so as to not pull thru. Great work!!

Looks like he's got 4 bolts holding it in. I've only got 2 quik locks on mine. Hasn't moved yet.....(knock on wood). I bet its tighter then it appears?
