Bluetooth Intercom - Remote?

I'm going to pick up a bluetooth intercom so the wife can yell at me while riding. ;) I'd probably grab a pair for our daughter & SIL too so when we ride we can talk. Would be nice to stream music from my phone commuting to work as well.

I'm looking at a couple that have an optional bar-mounted remote, but I'm not sure if it would really be worth the extra coin. If I go with one that doesn't have the remote, I'll look for one that has the easiest to locate/use controls since I never ride without gloves.

Anyone have experience with the bluetooth units?

I've been trying to configure one for riding for a while but with a list of requirements.

Bluetooth
Throat mic
no helmet mounting require
link sep phone to each headset
link gps/stereo to both headsets
Intercomm function
8-10hr battery life for headsets

I'm getting closer finding all the components but it's a low priority for me really.

I might have to integrate this into my new speedo/dash for the big dog, then find the headset/mics.

Checkout cycle gear built helmets with blue tooth the are reasonably priced and really like the setup. Plus they have great warranties on their helmet. I had mine for about a year and s half and the visor broke.. They gave me a new helmet no receipt no questions asked!

I bought ours on sale 169.00 great helmet and I know some like the brain buckets but I prefer a full

Sena Bluetooth mounted in ours for the longer rides, works great. Music, GPS, intercom, and capability to hook up with other drivers.
