Great idea, adding that to my list. I really don't like the way the aluminum looks aged. ThanksMy fins on the jugs where starting to look old and I put a rag over a paint stick, single layer and sprayed it with WD-40 and whipped thru each fin, I was really suprised at how nice they looked, don't soak them or spray it on them cause when it gets hot, if there's excess, it might start smoking and you'll be wondering whats going on.

My winter project is to find another job and meanwhile ride all I can to catch up on miles for these four years I had the K9 but only done 3K Miles on it!

Yeah, Southern Europe its similar to South US, where I am it can get freezing cold in January & February (Pyrenees Mountains are just on top of us) but as soon as I head South (300 Miles) ... it can be compared to California to say something....

I need to finish up the Bulldog's license plate bracket extension - finish the modular wiring extension and paint it.
IF we get a nice enough weekend soon, I need to basically prep the jetboat's 460 for removal. Spent last winter rebuilding the 1970 automotive 429 the PO installed (automotive engines don't last too long in a marine application); going from the original 11:1 compression, 340hp 429ci to a 10:1 compression, 475hp 466ci. Last time out this year she started knocking at the rear of the engine.
The knock starts at about 1800rpm, so I think it's just a cracked flex plate (new at time of build, SFI-rated). But, to get to it, most everything has to be disconnected in order to remove the driveshaft. At least I upgraded to a rail kit so the engine can just slide forward on it!
Also having some work done to the cycle trailer to accommodate the Bulldog; widening the back of the tire channel, sectioning the left side channel for kickstand access, and installing a lip on the rear frame for the ramp to sit on.
Will be installing an aftermarket cruise control kit on the motorhome, and will be taking it and the Bulldog to the Phoenix area in late March (weather permitting) to catch a few Cubs Spring Training games.
I also need to change the Bulldog's primary and transmission fluids. I may upgrade to a programmable single fire ignition system this winter as well.

Looks like some wiring is in my winter future too. Just ordered a Badlands Illuminator Pro-3 to replace the Badlands Ill-01 that seems to be failing. No front turn signals (only about 3v coming in to them), rear turn signals are bright all the time (could be wired wrong, but still needs to be fixed). The Pro-3 also adds front turn/running lights, hazard flashing, and a turn signal auto-cancel, which will be fantastic since the indicator on the digital cluster/display is very difficult to see at night, and impossible to see during the day.
Trailer is complete, just need to paint the new pieces.
