What are your winter projects?

With riding season coming to an end for some of us, what does everyone have planned to keep yourself occupied?

I'm about to order some new fork tubes for the Chopper and rebuild the front end this winter as I have leaky seals and a gouge on the tube. Also plan on digging into the bike to see whats been done, plan on pulling the cam cover to see whats in there to plan for a possible swap, and want to see if the restrictor plates are still in the manifold, if so open them up. Other than that, maybe a little garage renovation after seeing how nice some of you guys garages are!!!

Anyone else planning projects?

Rocker Box Gaskets, and possible cam swap (probably not but if i can only do a 600 cam and everything else will work, and it does not already have a 600 maybe). and a good burn out video in the night time so you can see flames shooting and smoke rolling...because it needs new tires for the next season.. and fluid change (oil, primary, tranny) hopefully that's it on the bike.

Boat is winterized and good.

Jet ski, is fine, but plan to re run the oil feed lines for insurance.

Vett is fine at the moment but 604rwhp on 12 lbs of boost and meth, who knows... ha

truck is fine as well.

4 wheeler just got valves adjusted and ready for some snow.

I'm in the same boat, don't know what cam I have, once I find out I'll know if an upgrade is possible without major mods.

Hope she don't blow:)
BLow? you mean the tire? or the motor? I would like to think the ole S&S will be fine.. the tire, I don't plan on smoking till the wires are sparking.. but if I see sparks I will be stopping.. haha I Do not want the tire coming apart and eating a fender.

I did this one on my RM 250 when it needed a new rear (I was probably 23). The motor was also on its last leg as you can see sparks and smoke when I let out haha..... best way to finish them both off! bike got a complete rebuild shortly after.

Mr. Wright

Knows some things
With it being an odd year, I was going to repaint my wife's bike, but she said not to touch it, she liked it the way it is.
My bike just needs a signal light switch. I will probably pull the primary apart and check the clutch for giggles and grins. I should have done that when I replaced the belt a couple months ago. I'll repaint next year.
I guess my winter will be filled up with the Honda.

In the Potters hand...
Polish polish polish, (1500 grit), I'd like to find a way to clean up the engine and repair minor oil leaks. The garage makeover is a good idea, (a man cave would be nice). Also need a speed sensor and speedo, and some paint touch ups. Only problem is riding season is never over in Florida.

I was going to say Gerald that garage is very impressive, great job until I read a little further on your post. My wife gets mad when she comes home and on of the kids are in her bay washing their car :oldlaugh:

Hey Ker, I hear you but it's not all it's cracked up to be. Good for riding but bad on maintenance. After going through your list I was impressed. Is there anyway I can get the Pitbull up to your for some tcl? lol.
Yepper, get it up here and give me your Christmas list:old2::whoop::chopper::oldlaugh:

My fins on the jugs where starting to look old and I put a rag over a paint stick, single layer and sprayed it with WD-40 and whipped thru each fin, I was really suprised at how nice they looked, don't soak them or spray it on them cause when it gets hot, if there's excess, it might start smoking and you'll be wondering whats going on.:oldlaugh::whoop:
