Ok, I've been inspired.

Dug my 74 CB550 out of the garage. I don't know exactly what I'm going to do yet, but first things first. Going to have to get it running.
A couple years ago, a friend of mine was cleaning out his shed, and asked if I wanted this. It was last tagged in 86. I rolled it in my garage and pretty much forgot about it.
So far so good, oil is clean, gas tank just has some surface rust, good compression, plugs look good. I hooked up a battery, and it spins over, but no spark. Surprisingly every light works on it.
I have another frame that has already been necked for a Harley front in at 38*. So lets see what I can create.

That one looks in pretty good shape you could clean it up and sell it, since it's all orginial might be worth some cash

Or you could do something like this

My first bike was a 500. It was a bad ass bike back in the early seventies. Makes me sad to see one so nice chopped up.
I've debated and pondered this many times. Makes me mad when I see classic cars crashed In movies. When I built my VW, (if you have ever seen it) all the modifications are done with original bolt holes. And if a 1968 VW ever is worth more than 10 grand, it can be restored in a short amount of time.
All I'm going to do is assemble it a different configuration. I have a second frame, that has already been destroyed.
I will throw this out there, If anybody wants to restore this bike back to it's original glory, I will sell it whole, other wise, I'm parting it out.

Thanks for the offer Shannon. I can't do that right now. Laid off again and a deer decided it was time to commit suicide using my truck. Chop her up!

Boy your in the same boat as me. Quit my job, bought a new truck, and a deer ran into the side of it.
Take the plunge, start your own business, then you won't have to deal with layoff again.

Excuse my French but up yours! I was in the excavating business for 34 years. The best day in business was my last day. I will take the layoff, sit home where it is warm and dry and draw my unemployment.

Good luck with you're business though. I hope it works out for you.

This is a costume Trike. I was a 2008, 883 Sporty that I got for my wife. She decided she wanted more than just two wheels so I went to work on it. Got me the kit, cut it all up, installed it took it off sent it out for paint, Installed a 1200 Kit reprogramed the Computer, chopper 14 degree kit with a 2006 Mastiff front end (21 inch front tire just like the Mastiff) , spoke Rear 15 inch wheels on 15 X 10 wheels and 15 x 50 Tires and there it sits. The Trike has less than 150 miles on the clock run good but she is scared to ride by herself. I am trying to sell this thing but no one wants to pay me the $10K I am asking. :oldbang: I put like $22K into it so I just ride it once in a while just to make sure it still runs. It was a lot of fun making this and working on it. I may do the same with my 2006 Mast when I get to the age where I have to wear depends :oldlaugh: :oldlaugh: The things we do for the love of our ladies :crazybitch:

Hey Frank, do you need some HB tips, I'm getting really good and the benefits are great. Last night Sue asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I told her I was thinking about getting an assault rifle, she said oh okay, what kind, I'll help you search for it. OH Yeah:whoop::whoop:
