WHO CAN I BUY THE ESC UNIT FROM.
Thanks, I did end up wrapping my wire bundle behind my side cover with Kevlar. Made a really nice tight looking job. I have not had the dreaded starter clunk since the install.WoW great job this helped alot I'll more than likely switching from ehc to the esc in my 07 k-9![]()
Does it need the next larger gauge wire? Or is it crankinging too long? Or is your starter drawing more than it should? It's funny you say that I've had to replace the boot on my starter wire a few times and it melts off is that common
Not sure, but if it's melting boots, I'd be looking for a answer.Definitely doesn't need a larger wire I'm going to have to say it's from cranking too long what should the starter be drawing in the first place maybe I
What are the chances of the contacts inside the solenoid being a little arced up creating a "high joint" and heating up? Kind of like the electrical receptacle in the house that has loose wiring, that heats up and burns the house down. I'd guess that if ya were to touch the terminal bolt on the starter right after cranking it over , it'd be pretty warm. ( or, maybe not)Does it need the next larger gauge wire? Or is it cranking too long? Or is your starter drawing more than it should?
