Now this subject reminded me of the "Life Saver", don´t leave home without it!

MICRO-START XP-3

Trust me when I say the loud bangs when the bike shut down were alot louder than a .50 cal going off!!! It was the unburned fuel exploding in the exhaust pipes as the cylinders had no spark!!!

I shat myself and honestly my first thoughts were I blew the motor!!! My heart went up in my throat while I was shaking there at the road side.... after a few minutes I took the "life Saver" out of my bag and I could make it to the Hotel.

It was a day I will not forget.

I picked one up from Wild Steed Worx and take it with me on motorcycle trips, and take it to the dunes for off road adventures. It seems to work with everything.

Just ordered one last night! This is something everyone should own, even if you don't have a bike! Could be used for anything, I am gonna get one for the wife also, pretty handy little device!:2thumbs:

I have one like this, different brand but I have jump started my bike and 3 or 4 cars with it. It holds a charge for a long while too. Fit's perfect in my tool bag on the chop.

I got one from Curtis as well. I used it four times at a Easyrider rally in Ohio last fall to start up three bikes and a car. Great thing to have and gives and added peace of mind on the road.

I have the same package but wrapped as AMP2. Kept starting my bike, but jumper cables became warm, then sort of fell limp after a few starts. Charged the cell phone but really dragged the charge down some. Then again, who knows how long these were sitting not being fully charged? At some flea market, I paid $60 for a never used, new in box. The BS is it stays charged after 6months sitting on the shelf. This puppy runs down to 11v and change I let it sit for weeks.

Fully charged: all I get is 12.53v. The D slot is (+) the O slot is (-) WATTSaye? Say, 'not charged for awhile' is the better charged battery, i.e., stayed on top of. Rot away is everyday so that chemical reaction inside deteriorates just like an acid battery. You can separate + and - for so long is back to itself chemically unsplit, meaning. Can't create it, can't destroy it, just keep fucking with it.

Back to covering my ass 100 words at a time; dispute heat limping the copper, dispute the magnetic field you are fucking with, dispute the chemical reaction you keep charging the fucker. Shading, budda-boom, whoooha!... (penis pops-out icon)

So what are ya saying? Stay away from the flea market "bargains"? Do they use cheaper batteries or what?

Never leave home without it! But, now that I have my DOC's ESC in my bike I doubt I will use it! Since installing my ESC, I have "Never" used my trickle charger at all, I went 2 weeks without touching the bike and it fired up no problem!:chopper::old2:
