not a good day, my sissy bar back rest fell of while ridin and chipped my paint#@*&. $275 for a new back rest too!!! CHECK that part cause its just wedged in there!! this next one will have a set screw, for sure!!

I almost lost mine a couple of times.
I made a new one this year that has aluminum angle on the outside of the bar (can't slide down) covered it with some fabris I bout at walmart. Will add pictures next time (too dark outside right now).

What do you mean, Its just wedged in there? I´ve two for my K9, (a 12 & a 18") .... both have bolts and they do not go anywhere in a hurry if you use blue loctite on the bolts!

Are you sure you didn't lose the bolts?

I run this one from JP cycles it doesn't fit perfectly but it works and I'm less worried about losing it. You could probably heat it up a bit to get it to fit better.

I have a stock BDM one that I don't run so I don't lose it ;)

Here is a pic see one side fits the other is off a bit. It doesn't fall it's snug, it does sit up higher on the bar but no females have complained :) they actually prefer it up higher.
