Franco, how did you get your licenseplate for your K9 in Spain? When I imported my K9 I had to go to Germany to get it improved and then import it from Germany to Holland. To directly import it in Holland was almost impossible...

I had no probs... just got a green plate while doing the "homologation" Approval with the stamp, and then in a month got the normal plate. It was done for me by a guy who deals with Imports/Exports.
I´d say your best bet is to talk to someone who deals with this stuff over in Holland.

Sadly I was the expert in Holland haha, but things have changed again over here. So the homologation approval was no problem? Didn't you have to change anything on the bike, like the turnsignal etc? Seems that I can better import one to Spain and then export/import it from Spain to Holland, because once a vehicle has an approval in one of the EC countries every EC country has to accept that....

Can't believe all the BS you have to go through to get a bike from the states. Maybe when KMW gets rolling things will be a bit easier for you.

I thought you imported your K-9 by yourself?
Had help from a guy from Madrid who knew the ins & outs. It definitely made life easier.

I bought it via Internet while I was in Afghanistan! The K9 arrived home before me! LOL

I saw it arriving via Skype
