So what do most folks use to remove the road grim and oil residue from their bikes
thanks i'll give it a trySimple green
The electric contact cleaner on cast aluminum will make it look dull. The WD-40 will put the oil back into it to give it, it's original luster. Same with dulled out black engine paint. After it dries, and you rinse it with water, no it will not collect dust.Shannon the electric contact cleaner sounds good, but does the WD-40 attract dust? I guess I'm gonna have to give it a whirl. Short of Mothers or that kind of stuff, what takes of water spots on the polished aluminum?

Never heard of it. Can you still smell it at 75 MPH?Any thoughts on Lucas Oil SlickMist.? I've been using it lately and it seems to do a really good job, plus it smells good.
