What a great story and an even greater father. When my wife died my dad rode a motorcycle from Atlanta, Georgia to Orlando, Florida in the middle of November to come and be with me. He was 70 + at the time. He is now in his eighties and still rides from time to time. Go Air Force. I am 59 + and I ride everyday, trying to hang like the ol Fly Boy.
3 generations would be cool! I'll never make that happen unfortunately. My son is 35 and just bought a new Harley Ultra, sure wish we could all three ride in Daytona during Biketoberfest. 3 generations riding in the wind. I most likely will be by myself this year, but I will ride with enough empty space in front of me and behind me , just like Missing Man Formation in the Air Force.
Those people from that time period didn't get that old by being stupid. To bad the kids today can't seem to learn that. When my wife died my dad rode a motorcycle from Atlanta, Georgia to Orlando, Florida in the middle of November to come and be with me.
