I recently bought an 07 K9 & I wanted to replace the EHC wiring system sometime soon. While I had the bike at Central Florida Choppers I asked the owner if he knew where I could get a another key made since I only had one. He told me this was not an original ignition key. This made me start to think. Wires Plus, after purchasing you have to buy the ignition switch kit also. When I got home I took the seat off, sure enough Wires Plus had already been installed. I saw the WP part # on the electrical system. Goodbye EHC.

Wp works I think most of the problems occur with people not understanding electrical systems me included! Wp is a good system have them on both of my bikes

My WP has worked great since day one. Getting EXTRA keys made locally may be an issue. Had a few extra and custom keys made in Sturgis though.....

Installed my "WirePlus" myself, couple years ago with Harley Sporty Ignition key switch.
All working great, no complaints.

At that time the only solution available was the "WirePlus";
now many others available, some might be better...?

Why no, just go back about 2 years worth of threads and you will see how much everyone loved the WP system. I did and bought one. It worked great..... for 200 miles.... If it ain't broke don't fix it... You probably have a Sporty key.....

Mine came with a WP. I frankly understand the EE system very well. If they worked, why would you need to in the first place??

They are garbage and the company that makes them are a$$holes.

The failure rate is much higher than the EHC I assure you.

Maybe when it leaves you on the side of the road your opinion will change.
