Does anyone have the 2004 service manual that they can send me in PDF format? If not, know of anyone that has one for sale? Trying to change my rear tire, change the upper parts of the forks, and rebuild my carburetor. I searched the site, but really need to torque specs and such to ensure I do a bang up job. Any help is much appreciated.

For your carb visit S&S web site and down load the Super E&G carb PDF. That should help. Franco can help you on the Maintenance manual. However the earlier manuals are less to be desired, not very detailed as the older model manuals...

Brew's right-the '04 manual SUCKS. If you can tell me what specs you're looking for, I'll be happy to see if they're in my copy, but don't get your hopes up. Have you done a search on this site yet? Whenever I need maintenance help, it seems I won't find it in that manual, but I'll find answers on this site. As I said, let me know what you're looking for, I'll check the manual and get back to you.

Hi Franco, I'm new to this forum but I've been searching all over for a service manual for an '04 big dog chopper without any luck. If you have a PDF copy you could send me that would be so awesome. I'm Austin by the way and I'm doing some work on my buddy's chopper and need to consult the manual for mainly electrical problems but some other issues as well. Manuals 2003 & 2005 are on their way to you... the 2004 everyone agreed on that it was crap so I did not keep it. Maybe someone else will have it for you.

Do you have a service manual for the 2008 Mutt? I am trying to find specific information rear axle installation and how far thru bolt should extend into thru far side swingarm. I put coyote wheels on with some new spacers and the axle only rests on about 1/8" of that swingarm.
