What do you all think about the price? I know its all about finding the perfect buyer but if I'm asking too much please educate me.
Thanks

It's a nice looking bike but why was the frame changed? does it have a big dog title? I personally think it will be a hard sell since it has been changed so much. Good luck!

What was the reason for the frame swap? Also what's the rake at now? Are those just the standard Big Dog forks but you have more rake in the trees or are the tubes longer too? I'd be curious to know how it rides?

IMO your price is close. However I have been seeing a lot of 2004 go for that $10k Mark recently. Actually someone just sold one on eBay 2005 for $6,500 I posted it on here but I can't believe nobody took it.

My point is depends on how fast you want to sell. If you want it to go soon $10k if your willing to wait you might be able to find someone @ $12.

Good luck with the sale!

i know very little about it since I bought is this way but from what I gathered from talking to the guys at Kansas Motorcycle works and showing them pictures its a Daytech Frame that has been modified and its a 12 over front end. Still has the VIN on the front stating it was the 302'nd 2004 chopper built. The story I got from the guy i bought it from was that a guy around the Missouri area built 2 bikes like mine and did the frame work.

It rides fine i think, it seems to "Flex" a bit since its so long but i always inspect the welds on front and so far no issues. the down tube he used int he front is a pretty good diameter, not a skinny piece.

Okay, so not a frame swap someone cut the neck, raked, welded and replaced the the downtube? Beyond me why someone would do all that work to stick the stock front end back on....sounds like this thing is ready for a Springer. Hmmmmm.....where did you buy this?

Do some digging on the forum for username 'MoeSpeeds'. I'm reaching back but I believe he had an 04 and modified the neck to rake it for a Springer you may have his old bike but he took the Springer off to sell seperatly. With that said he is an excellent fabricator but trying to explain that too a buyer may prove difficult.

I'm on my phone or I would search for you now I'm curious.
