Has anyone replaced their cable operated clutch for a hydraulic one? If so, can I have the details? I have an '06 K9 and sitting in traffic with a mechanical clutch sucks.
On bdm web site it is listed under 07 but in the discription it says for the 05-07 models. So, would the easy pull clutch system work on an '06?
The angle on the ball ramps of the clutch release mecanism was changed. Along with that the number of clutch plates was changed fro 12 steel and 12 fiber to 9 and 9. This doesn't require as much separation between the plates as the 12 plate set up to disengage the clutchHow does it work exactly?
Doug g's having one installed this week. Where you at dougDo you know how much it costs?
Loaf,Do you know how much it costs?
Doug you making me cry here:roll:Loaf,
I'm having one installed, cost for the kit is $200 and about 1 to 2 hrs. of shop labor. Total cost about $350, but I can't handle the current clutch pull in heavy traffic so had to have it done!
