Just a heads up for anyone contemplating using any product from this mfg. and / or vendors claiming that their products are applicable to our specialized bikes.....They are not deemed to be honest or credible as I have discovered. There is lots of talk about products working as advertised, but little proof to validate their claims. I will leave it at this: BUYER BEWARE!

I'd really like to see TH get back to you on the technical aspect as to why they believe the unit won't work with the additional switch.

SKOGDOG

One of the old ones.
I've had one on my K9 for several years without a single hitch....hope you can get to the bottom of it, G.
It's frustrating to not get what you paid for.

No-I had some other work done and had it all taken care of at Iron Lightning in Tulsa.
Great wrench there named Little Bill (no relation to the Gene Hackman character in Unforgiven). They went with BMW since BDM went under.

I have a TH ignition on my 2005 with the EHC. Have not had any problems. What product of theirs are you referring to?

That goes for all the other "great" plug and play systems with computers. For over 80 years Harley had a system that worked with little problems. Now they have a computer and all kinds of problems... Don't we ever learn from the past? My WP system installed by a dealer for $1,200 lasted 200 miles and no one wanted to take responsibility for fixing it. So F&ck me.... Live and learn... A simple wiring kit from Scooters for $299 in Fl and another $400 for bars and controls will take ya about 1 day to install and then forget about it. Just ride that beautiful bike and enjoy it instead of worrying if you will get there or get home. I guess if you don't believe me vote for Hillery next time around so things will change...

Simple and easy fix is usually the best, eh Bill? That's the same route I chose a few years ago and trouble free ever since.
Ya, I redid mine and now I don't worry. Starts every time and gets me there and back. Like they say "KISS" Keep It Simple Stupid.... Like the corvette headlights with the bean can vacuum tubes. Couldn't keep them open or closed. Finally tore them out, put in a headlight bucket with a plexiglass cover. Problem solved.

Or the old British cars with the 2 or 4 SU carbs. Wouldn't stay in sync , wouldn't run right, wouldn't start. Ripped them out and put in 1 or 2 Weber dual barrel carbs. Problem solved.
