It seems i got off lightly as i was only a mile from home when i noticed it so i turned around and the damage was limited. Still looks like it's going to cost me the best part of £3000 thoughthat sound expensive and very painful.....
Why How and what preventive maintenance (if any) can be done to avoid it to happen???

Somewhere around £8000 for an S & S plus labour, or around £4000 plus labour for a Revtech. I did feel slightly insulted when he mentioned a Revtech though to be honest. :lol:How much for a new replacement motor.
