I ended up buying a powersource and had it fail after 4 months, so sucked it up and bought a braille. Tested at 625 cca from factory and no problems yet.

Bought mine January 30th. Rode it 1600 miles on a 4 day trip on day 2 I was LUCKY I got it started. Thing is only good for one start if you happen to not get bike started on first turn over your fucked.

Battery has been sitting on a tender for a month went to start today cranked it over fine but bike didn't stay running just been sitting for a while. Well CLICK CLICK CLICK on second try what a waste of $100. Don't buy this crap lasted 3 months on a tender.

I run a Wal-Mart battery on my 107 and it's been in there for 2 years, seems the 117 Eat's Batteries for BreakFast just gonna by the Braille and be done.

Are you sure you're compression releases are working?

I've used several of the HD batteries 310 CCA I believe they go the distance vey good choice.

I know deka makes them but i talked to a worker at the factory who said the HD batteries are made separate and with higher quality standards either way they are durable in both my 05 and 2011 Big Dogs
AGREE:2thumbs:

My Braille went dead after the first year and would not hold a charge. Was great while it was working. Bought a Harley Davidson a year ago. Still up and running. Like anything else, some good, some bad. Just my 2 cents

Whats the price range for the Harley battery? I drive by a dealer on my way to work and was thinking maybe I try one.
BY any chance do you know the part no? or did you just give him the dimensions. If I walk in there and tell them its for a Big Dog they look at me like WTF, even though I'm in the computer system cause I buy shit there.

This is the battery that was in my bike when I bought it and it was 4 years old before it wouldnt hold under load. Has 330cca.

I bought the Lightning Start WPX20L-LS battery a couple of months ago and have been happy with the performance so far. It spins the engine over as fast or faster than any other battery that I have had, and that includes a Braille, and Tomioka Racing battery. The Braille that I had only worked good for about 1 1/2 years, and it was on a tender most of the time... so I figured what the heck and decided to try a $100 battery instead. If it only last a year, I will be happy. The LS does have small gauge terminals...but they seem to work ok. Time will tell......
