We were taking on another subject,

Franco, what did you have to do modify your bike so you could ride it in Spain?
Only amber rear indicators, number plate on fender, and a sticker showing Km on top of the original speedo so to get the WOF. (Not too bad)

I am using the Kellermann micro: (Three in one: position, brakes & indicators)

I apologize for a quick hijack of the thread - buy Francoblay1, what sissy bar bag is that? I'd love to get a bag like that well above the fender and get rid of my luggage rack!

OK, carry on with the topic of the OP
Thanks!!! I couldnt find that exact bag in the US site, but I did find a similar one. 2" shorter and 2" less front to back. I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the link!!
It used to be on the US site... but I could not find it either when I decided to go for it... show us some pics once you got yours mounted. :2thumbs:

It looks very similar.... mine is very sturdy, but NOT water proof... only shower proof, the thing to do is spray it with one of those silicone based water proofing sprays...

Sorry for the highjacking of this Thread, maybe we could start a new one, "Custom Sissy Bar Bags"? :D

I'm looking for a medium size hard bag (something for a 4-6 day trip) that attaches to the sissy bar well. Any recommendations?

Franco, you beat me to it - have not been on in a few days! But this will be a great thread!! Thanks for the idea and starting it!!

My thought was to look for a bag where I can get rid of the luggage rack. I currently have a Saddleman roll bag, but just bought the bag in Francoblay's pic - I'll post pics of it installed once it comes in. I am a little worried it will be too small - but we'll see!

I'm running the Rapid Transit Battalion Tail Frame Bag on both Bigdogs. I like it because it carries my back pack and a laptop computer for work. It expands out, so I can carry a spare hoodie also.

Cool,

You will have to be a bit creative with the way you will hook it up but "piece of cake" :2thumbs:

I am using Velcro straps, easy to mount/dismount when you want to take the bag with you.

Finally got it installed! I wish it were a little bigger. Good for keys, wallet, papers, a .45 with a few extra magazines, a few hand gernades, and a bottle or two of jack daniels black, but that about it. Cant fit the sun glasses in it.
