Thinking of taking -03 Choppa to Europe. To register it I would need a down tube sticker. I do know a guy who is pretty good fabricating all kind of official looking papers and stickers! But I would need a good picture of -03 Chopper sticker for him... Or does anyone have an old -03 sticker lying around?

I have mine stuck in my manual. I'll post a picture later this afternoon if you still need it.

My K9 did not have the down tube sticker when she arrived to Spain.... are you sure you need it for Finland?

I bet registration in Spain is easier than in Finland! In Sweden it is really easy. Finnish officials can be a real pain in the ass with all the rules...

I know of the case when there was no sticker and they asked customer to proof the frame is strong enough. How do you do that? Take the frame to lab, and they rip it a part. Well, you then have no frame, but if the frame builder then proffs that all the frames are the same, you can buy a new frame and use that. Exept if they suspect the new frame is not the same, you have to take that to lab too.... 3rd they believe to good enough. If the first two were exactly the same.... That is if you are unlucky and the inspector doesn't look your face...

Can't you just slip him a $5 when they are inspecting it .
That usually works for me .

We'll only help you take it to Finland for the Summer, if you promise to bring it back over here for the Winter when you come back.

Just use a hair drier and warm it up. It comes off easy, and a little WD-40 will take any sticky off that might stay on there.

Hey Tapio, Did that picture work for you? Hadn't heard any word back yet.
Thanks for the picture! Got back From Paris today, my Verizon did not really work there.... I did give the pic a look just now, I think it gives enough info for my "handyman".
Now he just need to fabricate a copy with my Vin....
