fuel tank swap between years

Hey guys I have a dumb question to ask, but here it goes anyways. Does anyone know if a 06 Pitbull fuel tank would fit on my 05 Pitbull?
If so, is the seat the same, or is the 06 seat skinnier up by the tank?
