High Mileage Concerns?

Hi everyone, I'm considering buying a Big Dog with 75,000 miles on it. Are there any issues I should be concerned about with those miles? From what I have heard, these bikes are built to last, so maybe its not a big deal right?
Thanks.

Thanks for clearing that up. So back to the original question, Any issues to be concerned with?

It depends on the price and how much more you want to spend on it. Engine rebuild in necessary a couple of grand. Transmission under a grand. Wheel bearings and brakes not really expensive parts wise but there is labor involved. Can you do any of the work yourself? Good luck!

I'm not much of a mechanic but I know a few people that are. Thanks for the input. Anybody on here have some Dogs with that kinda mileage?

Well, I was hoping not to reveal too much information, or it may get sold before I get a chance to buy it. Its mostly red in color. What color is Rays?

Your asking about as vague a question as one could possibly ask regarding a used Dog.
At 75000 there are tons of issues that you need to be concerned about.
I would highly recommend you take one of your mechanic friends, if they know BDs that's even better, with you to look it over and test ride it. Make a list of all the issues, price them out for a total and then balance that against what the average dog is going for.

I have 66,000 on my 07 K9 and it is still running very good. Planning on 3000 mile trip to Daytona and Key West in about 6 weeks. I don't have any concerns about having any problems with it.
