I put one in my BD chopper and it lit up the garage... cool... Then.... I needed a flashlight to see if it was on.... then remembered I have the WP system, the last cat's ass re-wire system everyone touted about.... When I hot wire the bike the light works great... The bike seldom runs there and back but the light works great....

I would've duck taped the flashlight to the head light and no more worries about the WP, ECH, EHC, RIP or whatever the hell its called again.
For high beam tape 2 up there.:whoop:

Got mine its awsome! Just got a new crystal clear headlight with mirror backing to install as well can't wait to see how bright it is now!

You bet.
The only off brand from Big Dog that we seem to have had an issue with was a Yamaha Warrior, I think that's what it was can't remember for sure.
We were notified today that we will have our new stock on 01/20.

You didn't have a problem, I did. It was my Yamaha road Star. When I pulled out the headlight bucket to put in the LED a wire must have been pulled in the driving lights and shorted out. As soon as I turned on the LED the fuse blew.

A pack of fuses later I bought a breaker and tested all the wiring. As soon as I would put the H-4 bulb back in and replace the bucket it was fine. Just call it one of those WTF moments. After messing with it for a day or so Curtis sent me 3 different LED bulbs. I installed each one and the breaker would go off.

I put back in the H-4 bulb and hit the lights and was ready to say the LED's won't work in a Jap bike. A few seconds later the breaker went off... I pulled all the wires going to the headlight and driving lights and found one of the driving light wires stripped. I guess it just happened when I first pulled the bucket and the extra length of the LED made it touch the ground. The shorter H-4 bulb pulled it away from the ground.

Lesson learned that not everything that seems logical is. Thanks Curtis for helping me by sending 3 more bulbs so we could figure out if it was the LED. Curtis was concerned enough to do this to insure his product works correctly. I now have one of his new ones in it and it's fine.

Ya, I also own a Yamaha. A great bike that I made look like a 50's Harley. 102 CI, air cooled, V-twin handles and rides great. Always starts and I never worry about it breaking down. In fact my HD Fatboy is up for sale because this bike kicks it's ass...

These LED bulbs are pretty sweet. I have an M3H 2500 lumen one in my Harley and the thing is super bright. I like the whole 5 3/4 units a lot too (have one in my Dog), but if you don't feel like spending a few hundred, then these are a great alternative for a small portion of what you'd spend otherwise. I like the look of the whole units, but these bulbs are great if you don't. I'm going for an older school look on my Street Bob, so the bulb is nice for keeping the look less techno while still benefitting from the majorly bright light.
