Clutch question on dog

[BigDog2005_chopper]

I have the 05bdm chopper dog 05

I was troubeshooting the dog and took apart the cluch casing (with the long rod that runs straight thru bike)

now when i put back in ive got no pressure on clutch level.

I"m sure it's something simple, any suggestions as to what i might be doing wrong?

I"m thinking the rod has to have constanct pressure on it at ALL times when entering the hole. but uncertain how to do this.

You must have got the ball and ramp out of wack if you didn't slack off the clutch adjustment cable. loosen the cable off and follow the procedure on this sight on how to adjust the clutch.

I have a thread with pics of the ramp & balls where you can see where the problem was.... can´t find it now. But if you like I can try to explain it to you.

Basically make sure the balls are sitting well at the bottom of the ramps when installing... then adjust as per the How-To.
